ACC&D's 6th international symposium convened 150 delegates from 13 countries spanning five continents who spent 2.5 days looking toward the future of animal welfare and the research that will get us there. ACC&D’s driving inspiration is “innovation to save lives,” and their symposia embody this concept in session content, networking among diverse audiences, and support for the next generation of scholars to engage in this field. ACC&D's 5th international symposium convened a record 65 speakers and poster authors and 150+ guests from six continents and 16 countries to discuss innovative scientific research advancing the development of non-surgical methods of controlling cat and dog populations worldwide. Researchers, academics, veterinarians, veterinary students, animal welfare professionals, public health experts, wildlife biologists, and government officials were all represented, a characteristic of ACC&D symposia that was recognized and appreciated by multiple attendees.
